FALL MINI SIGNUPS.....

I'm utilizing the website Sign Up Genius this year for mini sessions.  Hoping it will make things easier on me and I'll have less errors on my part.  I sometimes get overwhelmed in the fall and double book slots or whatever...........it gets CRAZY!

I will be offering sessions at the following locations on weekends in the fall.  Most will be Sunday afternoons but I will probably add a few Saturdays here and there as well once I get my kids' schedules a bit more ironed out!!

Canton Square ~ Urban/street look

Natchez Trace ~ pretty in late fall with the leaves and wooden fence/cabin

Memphis Botanic Gardens ~ Greenery/fall colors, pretty pathways

I have many dates already added to Sign-Up Genius and it's super easy to sign up to secure a spot.  I also have some fair sessions in Jackson added and will look into adding a few fair slots for Southaven.

SPRING/SUMMER at the Botanic Gardens

I'm very excited about offering these!  The pricing is a bit different than normal so please read carefully.  Here's the info ~



INTRODUCTORY PRICING (good for sessions booked through June 30th) ~

OPTION 1 ~  $50 includes 45 minute session and NO PRINTS and NO DIGITAL IMAGES ~ prints and images may be purchased separately at current pricing rates.

OR

OPTION 2 ~  $100 includes 45 minute session and (3) digital images ~ additional prints and images may be purchased separately at current pricing rates.

OR

OPTION 3 ~ $250 includes 45 minute session and all images in a digital download (about 20 edited files) and 10% off prints.



You choose the option that works best for you!  Times vary and will be booked on various days throughout the spring/summer.  Sessions can only be during the weekdays ~ NO WEEKENDS and once we decide on a date, the date/time must be okayed through the Botanical Gardens.  Payment is due on booking to secure your spot.  Session may be rescheduled due to rain/illness.

Spring Minis Tomorrow....

We are still on for minis tomorrow in Ridgeland at Dinsmor.  I'm about to leave north MS and head south.  I know there has been some nasty weather the past few days/weeks so I am going to ride by and just check the area to make sure everything looks good for in the morning.  If I think it's too bad we will move the pictures to the Renaissance shopping area.  It will at least be dry there.  I will post an update tonight to let you know for sure but I'm betting Dinsmor looks pretty!    The temps will be cool in the morning but should warm up nicely as the day progresses.  I will have a few small chairs that the kids can sit in but we will mostly try and use the natural elements there - bridge/rocks/logs/walking trail/etc.  If your child can not sit up, please dress and prepare to be in the pictures with him/her.

NEW YEAR!!! NEW CALENDAR! NEW SALE!!!!!

It is time to start scheduling for the new year.  I have already heard from some who are wanting to book plan sessions and regular sessions for the new year.  If you have a session you need to get on the calendar, please email me soon.  I will be doing a few spring mini sessions in the Ridgeland area this year and also in the Desoto/Memphis area.  The dates/locations/times are as follows ~ I've planned new locations with springy airy feels to them.  They will be perfect for children and families.  If you are interested in a spot, let me know soon.  I will not offer as many as I did in the fall and times will fill up quickly.  They will cost $65 and include a $25 credit on orders place by April 15th.

I'm also working on beach dates!  yay!  I do plan on being in 30A area the week of Memorial Day so if you will be there then and want a session, let me know!  I will have more specific info on dates soon.

I am so close to being completely caught up on editing.  It's a wonderful feeling!  I'm going to be out of town for a long weekend so if I for some reason do not get you up before tomorrow, you will be up on Monday.  I will also be starting the card assembly process on Monday.  I will go in the order that I receive requests.  I will also let you know when your sample is up so that we can finalize your order but I do not foresee it taking longer than a week to get all cards done and okayed.  Remember that I need all requests for cards in by November 17th. 

I have added a package buying feature online!!  I'm so excited!  This is a great way to save on packages for you and family and friends for the holidays.  Remember if you had a mini session with me, you have a special discount that will expire on November 30th.  There is no exception to this!

If you want to use one of your pictures in a card but do not want to wait on me to "get it together" please take advantage of my digital options in the post below.

Card Pricing ~

All Cards this year will be the paper cards printed on front/back textured paper.  All cards come in sets of 25, there is not a different option for this.  The more cards you order, the less each card costs.  When making your selection, please pick no more than two cards for me to make samples for you.  Each card takes a lot of time and if I think another card might work better or look better with your pictures, I will let you know.  If you chose two and I think one is much better than the other, I will create it first before doing both options.  If you aren't sure, just ask me and I will pick for you.  :)  Some things on the cards can be changed but some things CAN NOT.  Please keep this in mind when choosing your card.  If you just can not find something that I offer that you love, you may want to consider one of my digital options below and you can then create your own card using a different card site such as Tiny Prints or Minted.

Special note, some of these cards appear to have foil embossed details, but they do NOT, it is all just the print colors to give the look of foil.  I don't want anyone to be confused.

 

Jackson Area Minis!!!! This weekend..............

OK tomorrow morning I will be in Canton on the square.  Please meet me near the Subway restaurant on the square.  Tomorrow afternoon, I will be at the Natchez Trace welcome center (the OLD craft cabin).  IF you are not familiar with that area, it's best to take either Rice Road or Hwy 51 in Ridgeland and you will see the brown signs for the Natchez Trace - follow those or text me at 601-260-5069.  Sunday, I will be at the Trace all day.

Sessions this weekend (Oct 10th, 11th, 12th)

Today we will be at the Fair in Jackson.  I will be near the trade mart so park there and look for me there.  I like to use the food booths and game booths as back drops.  If your name is NOT on my list below but you signed up and paid for a session, please text me and let me know!  Sometimes I miss putting people down and I don't want to miss YOU.

Easter Proofs

Easter proofing is finally starting to go smoothly and I was able to get a lot of galleries up today.  I should be close to finishing tomorrow and whoever is not up tomorrow should be up by the end of the weekend.  Remember that if you order online, you can use the coupon EASTER2014 to apply your $25 off credit for orders over $100.  If you'd rather me do it, again, just email me like always.  I've had a lot of regular sessions this week and a few newborns so it's been hectic to say the least!!!  If you are looking to book a spring session with me ~ ESPECIALLY in the Jackson area, please contact me ASAP.  I have one day that I know I'll be there and I will have very limited availability.  I will be there more starting in June.

Easter galleries are starting to go up!  They will all be shopping cart enabled.  To get your $25 print credit use the coupon code EASTER2014.  Code is only good on orders of $100 or more.  This code will expire on April 20th.  If your gallery goes up late for some reason, your coupon code will be extended a few days.  Let me know if you guys have ANY problems!!!! 

EXCITING NEWS ABOUT ORDERING!!!!!

I am so happy to announce that I will have the option to place orders directly from my website now.  This will make things so much easier for you and me!!   I am still somewhat in testing mode for the new method so please be patient while I work out the kinks.  From now on, all NEW galleries will have the option to do online ordering ~ old galleries will, too, but they may not be activated yet.  If you want to continue emailing me with your order, that is fine, too.  Prints will be sent directly to you and you can also purchase digital images or galleries online as well.

I told you guys that I would post directions tonight.  I had originally thought that we would do them at the Lake Caroline nature area/playground, but have decided instead to do them on my parents' lake lot (still in Lake Caroline).

From Stribling Road ~

Take the Camden Crossing entrance (not Caroline Blvd) ~ DO NOT TAKE GARY STREET.  This is wrong on GPS.

Camden Crossing to Caroline Crossing (you will take a right onto Caroline Crossing)

Go thru 2 stop signs and then take a left on Hampton Crossing (this road goes by nature area/walking trail/playground)

Go around and turn/veer/curve right onto Caroline Blvd.

Take a left onto Lake Ridge.

Take a right onto Savannah Bend.  You will see two empty lots on your right (just past a two story home).  I will be there with everything set up.  Please pull in on the gravel drive but do NOT PARK THERE.  Park on the grass in the lot.  The gravel drive is a neighbor's and I do not want to block their driveway during mini sessions.

Mini location and other information.....

Location for minis in Madison this weekend will be out at Lake Caroline.  I will be at the nature walk/playground area that is near the Hamptons.  I will post specific directions HERE on Thursday.  Please check back for that info.  If it rains ~ and it looks like it may on Friday ~ we will move the sessions over to the yellow clubhouse (near the Mermaid Cafe) and use the covered porch there.  I will put updates here and on Facebook as the day progresses but please feel free to text me on Friday if you want a quick answer.  Remember that there are NO outfit changes during mini sessions and that if you are late for the session, your session is cut short so please try to be early.  If you are early please give the person ahead of you space and do not come "watch" or "help" them in any way.  I will signal to you when it is time for you to get started.  It generally takes me about 10-15 minutes to get what I need so there is a little extra time worked in for getting settled, saying hi and making the transition. 

Let me know if you have any questions and look for the directions on Thursday.  I need to make sure I have all the street names correct.
