Card Samples

New samples here along with some tried and true oldies from past years.......I will add one more set before the end of September (tomorrow!) and that will be it.

HOLIDAY MADNESS!!!!! :)

Weekend time slots are completely full for mini sessions. I am almost completely full for regular sessions as well. I have a few time slots available on October 9th and a few available on November 6th right now. I also can shoot on Friday afternoons and have October 29th open and November 5th. If you are on a yearly plan DO NOT WAIT to sign up for a holiday time slot. I have set up certain times this year and once they are all full, that is it. I will not take any more.

HALLOWEEN mini mini -

As I was decorating for halloween this past weekend, I realized that my FAVORITE thing about Halloween is looking at all the adorable framed pictures I have of my children in their costumes over the years. We have one from every year and each year the collection grows. I cherish those pictures so much! October 31st is a Sunday and I'm not sure if that is Trick or Treat day or not, but I want to offer you a quick chance to come by and have a little memory captured of your little ones!

Here's the plan -

I will be at the Laurelwood Clubhouse from 3-5pm with some pumpkins and hay and maybe a cute bench and some mums. :) Bring your little one by before ToTing and have a picture made. I will also have suckers and candy for their buckets.

COST - $20 and you get a set of 4-5 proofs (size 4x6)

This is not a fancy session and will be come and go. You don't have to have a certain time slot, but I need to know how many people will be coming so let me know over the next few days if this is something you plan on attending. I don't want it to get too crazy and need to know how many to plan for.

Farm WEEKEND!!!

Thank goodness fall has arrived! Just in time for the first holiday sessions of the season. I'm excited and anxious to get going out at the cricket farm. Big thanks to the Hardy family for allowing me to use their place.

A few notes - I will have several spots set up for us to rotate thru during the day. Lighting will determine what spots are best at the time of your shoot. Clothing - lots of questions about clothing - think FALL and layers and hats and boots. I want these photos to be playful and natural and your kids will be happier in comfy outfits. There will be plenty of time for each session so plan to do a family session if you want. I'm going to TRY and have a laptop there for us to view your pictures the last 15 minutes of your session and we will pick your top 5-10 faves. I'm also going to have a big board with card samples so you can pick your faves for me to work up a perfect card for you!!

Fall SPECIAL weekend.....October 1, 2, 3rd

I am offering one last weekend as a "special" session weekend. This weekend is NOT a mini session weekend. It is just a special location shoot that will feature a discounted session fee. There will be NO print credits with this session. Here's the details:

~ 1 hour time slot

~ max 6 people....each additional person is $15

~ one outfit change allowed

This is a very awesome location that I'm getting to use this season. Hopefully I will be able to use again, but I don't want to wear out my welcome! We will be able to use tractors, an old school bus, several old vehicles and some old furniture out in an open field. There are lots of options and this is why I'm not offering this location as a mini session weekend. I want to be able to relax and let your family enjoy the session and get lots of great options for you to choose from.

This is just the beginning!! This post will grow to include around 70 cards over the next few weeks. I'm slowing getting the new cards in and worked on. Will revamp some past seasons' cards as well and add them. I will not be doing custom cards this year due to the enormous amount of time it takes. I hope to have plenty of choices for everyone. Although I won't be doing custom cards, many of the cards I will have available can be changed some - i.e. they can have more pictures added, additional names can be added, etc. Please feel free to post questions in the comments section, if you are wondering about something, I'm sure another person is too. :)

MINIS Delta Sessions....

I will be adding a mini session morning and afternoon for the Delta. The dates will be Saturday morning, November 13th and Sunday afternoon, November 14th. These will be just like my normal Jackson minis and will follow the same guidelines. I am working on the location. Spots will be limited! Times are as follows...

Once these dates and times are full, I will consider adding minis to November. This will be ALL for October. Mini sessions can be just the kids or the whole family. Minis are limited to one outfit. NO OUTFIT CHANGES. Minis are great for Christmas cards and gifts.

For customers who are on plans and/or want full session times, I will have Saturday slots available and every Friday morning I will be shooting in Madison at Wright's Mill. I will save other weekday mornings for newborns and in-home baby clients. I will post locations for Saturdays soon - I am waiting until I see all the football schedules. ;)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, contact me ASAP for a time slot. These go fast and every single year I have people who wait until the last minute and don't get in. Please don't do that! Plan ahead.
